About Hellhammer

Well then I guess there's no harm in telling you a little about myself. I was born on April 95 (That'll make me about 16 now) in Tehran. In the words of Bryan Adams "I got my first real 6 string" when I was 14. Had a great instructor who took me all the way in a year. didn't give up though and I still need to practice for some time. Also recently, I got myself a cool drum. Gorgeous.

Just to stop rambling on about music, I'm gonna tell you some other stuff (you're probably not even readin' it so why should I even bother). Between sports I'm a swimmer and basketball player but neither am I a Jordan with a ball nor Alexander Pavov (Is Pavov Spelled correctly? Please google it for me! It'll just take a sec) with speedos (And by speedos, I mean long manly swim shorts). Guess I am actually more cite about basketball than fuckin' with water.

And about the school and stuff, you (who has bored his/her ass by still reading this) could have probably noticed that I'm 10th grader in HS, you do the math. Momentarily, to be exact I'm at Allame Helli 4 HS as a 10th grader doing my second year back there. And in the matter of my studies, I guess I'm cool with Physics (Mechanics, Electronics), Math (Geometry, Algebra), And computer (Software and app programing, AVR GCC, VC#).

Oh, and If you care to start learning how to shred electric guitar (Metal genres), please do care to count of me as an option by informing me about your self through email (deathcrush_arian@yahoo.com)

Enjoy your upcoming web surfing as I've crawled into the dimmest pits of you brain and started loosening your neurons from your brain tissues with my windbag-ass mouth.
Warmest Regards,
Unnamed

Online Guitar : Alternative Picking and Speed Licks

Alternative picking or speed picking has been the basis of choosing the most talented shredders, because if you want to master speed picking, you should posses fast right hand picking skills and also fast left hand fretting.

In speed picking, probably the most challenging part, is the string switch; In which you have to start pinching the next (or previous) string without ringing the sound of other string, especially the string you've picking. The key to obtain the talent to do a fast and clean speed lick, is only obtained through practice.

Before you begin :

1. Hold your pick like this:

2. For start, you might want to lower the level of distortion (gain)

3. If you're a beginner, try having a seat with your guitar instead of playing while standing.

Practice layouts :

Practice these layouts and set you metronome to 90 BPM. Start increasing the beats as you promote your skills:

Practice these in the sequence they are here in this blog:
